Zurich Insurance Company Ltd
In February 2007 Zurich Financial Services Group signed an agreement for the purchase of a majority stake in NASTA Insurance Company. The transaction gave Zurich a 66% share in NASTA and an agreed path to 100% ownership by 2010. Founded in 1993, NASTA was a leading personal lines insurer in Russia.
Since December 2007 the company with more than 3,000 employees and approximately 3,500 tied agents as well as an extensive distribution network, with 67 branches and over 300 representative offices across Russia, operates under a new official name – Zurich Insurance Company Ltd.
